17 MONTHS OLD
We have made it 17 months!!! Yeah! She is getting more and more independant and sassy. It must be a girl thing.
She loves makeup and brushing my hair. But, she still pitches a fit when we do her hair. She loves shopping and gets so excited when we go and see all the new stuff and outfits.
She is a little parrot, so we have to watch what we say around her. Her favorite new words now are:
Oh Lord!
Hang on!
What is that?
Shoes
Socks
Makeup
Amen
Teeth (To brush her teeth)
Hands (To wash her hands or put lotion on)

WE ARE BUILDING
We have finally closed on our land and will begin building early June. I am really starting to get excited, but a little scared, because it is such a final decision when you turn in your house plans. I don't want to make too many changes after they are drawn, so I am trying to think of EVERYTHING I want and we want before we start. Once we start we have to be completed within 9 months, so pray for dry weather and NO hurricanes or tropical storms.
We are having the elevation shot this week to determine our base elevation to begin the dirtwork for the foundation. I am looking for an architect, but having a hard time because most are only doing commercial construction only.
I think we are going to be around 2400 sf with a bonus room/game room and bathroom upstairs and a mudroom/storage room with BBQ cooking area outside. So many things I want to do, but it all COST MONEY. LOL!!!
I will keep you posted and send pictures as it progresses.

This Is For Lisa...
It is time to update, but we have been so busy that I have really put it off. So, lets see... We had our 8th anniversary, the stomach virus one weekend, strep throat and tonsilitis the next weekend, many crawfish boils, a garage sale, baby shower for a friend who is having triplets, playdates with Anna most weekends, etc weekend stuff...
This weather makes me feel so good. I am ready for summer and I think Anna is. She loves her shorts and new summer clothes. Her favorite new thing to do is slide and swing on her play gym outside. If I would, she would sleep out there if I would let. But you know, in the south, the mosquitos are too bad.
Gas prices are so expensive here. $3.14 a gallon and going up, which is crazy since we have all the refineries.
David got a new truck, a Toyota Tacoma. It is a great truck and runs much better than his Ford. We can't wait to use it to pull the boat to the camp.
Lisa- What do you think about Days of Our Lives????
