Another milestone!!! A year and a half. Wow, how time is flying...
Anna is growing like a weed, 29 1/2 inches and about 30 pounds. I realized this morning how big she was getting, when we were driving to daycare and she started singing "Twinkle twinkle little star" and I could understand her. That is her new thing now. She loves to sing songs, count to 10 and sing her ABC's. It is just the cutest thing.
Here are some of her favorite things:
NO!!!!! (Everything is NO!!!)
Come on...
Throws her hands up in the air if you ask her where something is and she does not know...
Car
Ice
Fish
What's that?
Play
Slide
Cat
Makeup

Terrible Two's
I think we are starting the terrible two's. It really is not that bad, but sometimes when you are in the middle of it, you just want to scream.
Anna's new thing is, she tells me NO for everything. At first it was cute and then I tried to correct her and teach her yes, but now she knows how to use the word in context. Everything is no. This morning was like a marathon (and I only have one kid), she would fight me to get dressed, told me NO on everything, ran around the house from me and took her diaper off everytime I put one on.
All I can do is teach her not to say no to her mommy, to use yes in the correct context and to just ignore it. Any suggestions?

NoMo's
Just to let you all in on a little secret, we are not all perfect and neither am I. So, I have been thinking about this for a long time and I have decided to do someting about it. Since we have moved back "home", a lot of my old habits have come back into my life, drinking, smoking, eating too much, etc. It is that old saying in Louisiana, Lassiez les bons temps roulez. Everything here is planned around drinks, food and fun times. So, it is really hard to stop doing these things because it is EVERYWHERE. That is why I have decided to eliminate it all. Hopefully that will help, instead of eliminating just one thing and failing.
That is where the NOMO's come from. NoMo drinking, smoking, excessive eating, unhealthy eating, etc.
Today is Day 2 and I am still doing ok. I hope keeping you all in the loop will help me stay on the right track. Wish me luck.
